The Greater Birmingham and Solihull Local Enterprise Partnership required a suite of five car study films that focussed on projects they had funded the previous year. All films included graphical elements designed by Method.
GBSLEP
FILMED CASE STUDIES FOR AN ANNUAL REPORT
The outcome
Our approach for these films follows our standardised approach to most similar films, developed over a number of years to ensure efficiency for us, for our clients and, importantly, for the contributors we are filming with. We would use the same approach for our work with Health Education England. HTF Media’s Project Manager, undertook preparatory telephone conversations with all proposed contributors. From this, a shot-list and script for each video was produced, and signed-off by GBSLEP, to ensure everything was factually correct. During this pre-production phase HTF Media’s Project Manager shared up-to-date progress on a weekly basis with the team at GBSLEP. This enabled the team to see who had been contacted and agreed to be filmed, when the filming was scheduled to take place and the key messages that each case study would communicate. We produced five exceptionally high quality films as required by the client, on time and on budget. We used our tried and tested pre-production, filming and post-production processes to provide a positive and collaborative experience for our client, our client’s partners, and the people featured in the films. Our greatest test of success is to be asked to undertake further videography work for a client because they have been delighted with our work, and this year we have been asked to work with GBSLEP again for those reasons. The films speak for themselves: they are engaging and relevant for the intended audience. What’s more, the project case studies provide a celebration as well as promotion of the impact GBSLEP has had on its communities.
