Our most challenging shoot to date!
We transformed the historic Moseley Road swimming baths into a film studio to produce a series of short, social ready films to launch the Aspire Channel Swim 2018
Water, heat and lights don’t readily mix but with some keen planning and with safety in mind we took to the shoot like a ducks to water.
We produced creative and punchy videography with beautiful visuals and motion graphics that consistently kept to the campaign’s strong brand identity. It reflects how, even in the relatively limited situation of a swimming pool, we can innovatively reflect the personalities of people and their experiences as they undertake an activity, without the need for standard interviews or documentary-style filming.
We innovated from an ambitious and technically complex brief to produce creative, compelling video that worked brilliantly with Aspire’s existing brand. We produced promotional content of varying lengths targeted to specific audiences and platforms, using the contributors’ individual stories to tell the wider campaign story concisely and with impact.
“Working with HTF Media on the Aspire Channel Swim production allowed us to create a piece of truly inspiring content which has formed an integral part of the advertising campaign for the charity. Their collaborative approach, technical capability and project management skills made for a seamless process from start to finish. With a challenging location and complex subject matter, we leant on HTF Media to offer innovative ideas on execution including lighting, crew, equipment and effects, and they absolutely delivered.”

The Aspire Channel Swim films were technically and creatively complex but our work resulted in films that have been a great success on social media. They gained significant traction and, as a crucial part of a bigger brand campaign, have resulted in significant increase in sign-up for the Aspire Channel Swim 2018. The films can currently be seen featured on electronic boards in a variety of public spaces including Grand Central, Birmingham.
